The BIG 3 0!!!!!!!!!!!!

No I did not turn 30 this year...it was 31. This is a post to celebrate my son. He is almost 5 and has finally reached 30 pounds. If you know my son, you will understand my excitement. So let's hear it for 30!!!!!!!!!!!1 Congratulations on reaching a remarkable milestone!!!!

Grandpa

Today my Grandpa passed away. He had been sick for so long. Although I know that I will see him again one day, it is still sad. He was a great man. He loved his family. I remember the love he had for me. He always had hugs for us. I am glad that his memory will live on. I am also grateful for the traits my children have that come from him.

Dinosaurs

My kids LOVE dinosaurs. They have dinosaur shirts, toys, movies, cups, candles....

They love to go to the University and look at the dinosaur skeletons. We took them recently. There is a new dinosaur or sea creature. The kids got a bit too close to the T-Rex and almost had their heads bitten.

School Time

A few weeks ago I sent my oldes off to grade one. He was so excited to go. He had his backpack on 45 minutes before he had to leave.

Then today I sent the middle child off to playschool. He was a bit nervous for a second, but then was completely fine. He was also excited for school. He really likes his teacher

Summer

We spent our summer at home and enjoyed the warm weather when it wasn't raining. I did take the three kids down to visit family for a week.


Of course the highlight was seeing the new nephew. He is very cute and sweet. My sisters had a baby shower for the new nephew. I was put in charge of making the cupcakes. This is what I came up with.



The part that wasn't so great was two of the kids got sick with fevers. The day we got back home, the third child came down with the stomach flu. Yep, it was fun. I was very grateful that I was at home and that my husband was there to help.

New baby

My youngest sister and her husband just had their baby today. He is very cute and tiny. He was born weighing 5lbs and 14oz.

SUMMER!!!

Summer has come. We have loved being outside. The children enjoy their new slide and spend a lot of time using it. The boys help their little sister use the slide. It is wonderful to watch all three children play together.
